The Promocja marki innowacyjnych MŚP (Brand Promotion of Innovative SMEs) measure under FENG (European Funds for a Modern Economy) is an instrument of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP), aimed at strengthening the export potential of Polish SMEs on international markets. The programme supports the promotion of the entrepreneur's product brand through participation in international trade fairs, business missions and promotional activities linked to international expansion.
Who the Promocja marki innowacyjnych MŚP programme is for
The support is aimed at micro, small and medium-sized enterprises operating in Poland whose offering falls within one of the 15 economic sectors covered by the promotion programmes. These sectors include:
- the medical and pharmaceutical sector,
- construction and building finishing,
- professional electronics, microelectronics and photonics,
- green technologies,
- ICT/IT,
- the creative industries,
- cosmetics,
- machinery and equipment,
- furniture,
- automotive,
- rail vehicles,
- specialised ships, yachts and boats,
- high technologies in the field of security and dual-use goods,
- aerospace,
- food.
The documentation to date assessed whether the entrepreneur had conducted export activity for two consecutive financial years preceding the year of application and whether, in the last closed financial year, it achieved export revenue of at least 20% of net revenue from sales of goods and services. These conditions should be treated as an important reference point for the planned 2026 call.
What funding can be obtained for
The programme finances promotional activities aimed at developing exports and building recognition of the product brand on foreign markets. The following are eligible in particular:
- participation in trade fairs with a national stand as an exhibitor,
- participation in additional trade fairs selected by the entrepreneur,
- outgoing business missions combined with participation in trade fairs or industry events,
- promotional campaigns supporting foreign activities.
In practice, the funding can be used, among other things, for booking exhibition space, building and operating a stand, an entry in the trade fair catalogue, business travel of employees taking part in trade fairs or missions, organising shows and presentations during missions, and the costs of promotional campaigns.
Which activities are mandatory
The most important project requirement is the applicant's participation in at least one trade fair event from the list of the Ministry of Development and Technology (MRiT), at which a national stand will be organised for the sector to which the project belongs. This element is mandatory.
At the same time, current PARP clarifications indicate that, in addition to the trade fairs on the list, participation in other, independently selected trade fair events may also be planned, provided they are consistent with the project and the products being promoted.
The list of trade fair events is linked to the promotion programmes prepared for 15 economic sectors by MRiT and the programme partners. The current list of national stands is published by the Ministry of Development and Technology, and its scope has already been updated for selected sectors, which means that the entrepreneur should verify it as at the date of submitting the application. Key requirements for the applicant
The programme is addressed to companies with real export potential, not to businesses that are only testing internationalisation without any results to date. The criteria used so far assessed, among other things:
- export sales history,
- the financial, technical and human resources needed to carry out the promotional activities,
- the likelihood of achieving growth in export sales of the products covered by the project,
- whether the planned export revenue exceeds the share of public funds in the project.
Another important condition was the entrepreneur's innovativeness or its research and development activity.
What is the form and amount of funding
The support takes the form of a non-repayable grant. In the last call, the funding rate was up to 85% of business travel costs of employees taking part in trade fairs or business missions and up to 50% of other eligible costs.
The PARP programme website also indicated that no minimum or maximum value of eligible costs was set in the given call, while the allocation was PLN 100 million.
From a business point of view, this means that the instrument is particularly attractive for companies that are planning a larger, multi-stage internationalisation project and are prepared to co-finance exhibition, promotional and sales activities in their target markets.
When the 2026 call is planned
Planned call period: from 5 November to 17 December 2026.
If you are planning the international expansion of your product brand, it is worth assessing now the project's compliance with the programme criteria, the company's export history and the potential for participation in the trade fair events covered by the support.
