FINANCIAL ANALYSIS AND INVESTMENT ADVICE FOR COMPANIES

Analizy finansowe do wniosków o dofinansowanie

Verify whether a planned investment is profitable, financially viable, and safe for your company's liquidity. We prepare financial forecasts and analyses for grant applications, negotiations with financing institutions, and investment decisions. We tailor the scope of the study to the client's requirements and the actual scale of the project.

Profitability and cash flow

Financing and investment risk

Grant applications and management decisions

First, we determine the purpose of the analysis and data availability. The scope and cost of the service are agreed upon before work begins.

INITIAL SERVICE CUSTOMIZATION

What analysis does your project need?

Answer four questions. See the suggested scope of work and the data necessary to begin the analysis.

The recommendation will appear after all responses have been provided.

Submit an inquiry

The result is for initial service selection purposes only. It does not constitute an assessment of the project's creditworthiness, financial condition, or eligibility for funding.

WHEN IS IT WORTH PREPARING AN ANALYSIS?

Financial data should support the decision – not just fill out a table in the application

A well-prepared analysis allows you to assess the feasibility of the project, identify sources of risk and present a coherent argument to the financing institution.

Are you preparing a project for funding?

The financial requirements of a call procedure may exceed the investment budget. We help determine which forecasts, indicators, and documents are actually needed.

  • Assessment of financial feasibility and sources of own contribution
  • Forecasts in accordance with the instructions and model of the institution
  • Verification of liquidity during the implementation period and after project completion

Are you making an investment decision?

Before committing capital, it is worth testing various scenarios and checking whether the projected revenues justify the expenditure.

  • Profitability and payback period analysis
  • Verification of financing sources and debt servicing capacity
  • Cost, price, demand and delay sensitivity analysis

RESULT OF COOPERATION

What do you get with financial analysis?

We agree on the scope of the final product at the outset of our collaboration. Depending on your needs, it may include four complementary elements.

Financial model and forecasts

Revenues, costs, capital expenditures and cash flows for the agreed period.

Profitability assessment

Measures such as NPV, IRR, payback period or break-even point when relevant to the purpose of the analysis.

Financing and liquidity assessment

Own contribution, financing schedule, capital needs and ability to sustain the business.

Conclusions and recommendations

Description of assumptions, key risks, scenario analysis results and recommended actions.

An agreed scope is key. A different set of calculations is prepared for an investment grant, another for a loan, and yet another for internal management decisions. Not every project requires all the indicators.

BUSINESS VALUE

What decisions will you make based on the results?

The value of the analysis does not come from the number of sheets, but from the answers to questions that are important to the project.

Will the investment pay off?

Comparison of expenditures with forecasted effects and identification of factors influencing profitability.

Will the company maintain liquidity?

Assessment of the need for own funds, external financing and bridging capital.

What can change the outcome?

Scenarios that take into account, for example, increased costs, lower sales or postponed completion dates.

Already have a cost estimate or forecast? Check their consistency before submitting your documentation.

Verifying assumptions can reveal discrepancies between budget, schedule and financing before they become a problem in the evaluation of the application or the implementation of the investment.

METHODOLOGY FITTED TO THE PURPOSE

How do we choose the scope and methods of analysis?

We begin with the client's requirements and project data. We then define a set of analyses necessary to make a decision or meet documentation criteria.

Grant documentation

The scope of forecasts and indicators is based on the current regulations, application form, and application instructions. Appropriate investment projects are considered in accordance with the relevant guidelines of the Ministry of Finance and Development.

Debt financing

What is important are the cash flows available for debt service, the repayment schedule, the collateral and the requirements of the specific financing institution.

Investment decision

The economics of the project, the rate of return, scenarios and the project's resilience to changes in key assumptions are important.

Methodological basis for relevant investment projects co-financed by the EU: Ministry of Finance and Development guidelines for the preparation of investment projects for 2021-2027. The requirements of the program and the call documentation determine the specific scope of the analysis.

RISKS AND COMPLIANCE

Which issues require special verification?

Financial analysis should take into account not only the baseline scenario, but also constraints that may affect the implementation or evaluation of the project.

Liquidity during the investment period

A positive result doesn't automatically mean cash is available. We analyze the timing of expenses and the impact of financing.

Credibility of assumptions

We verify the sources of forecasts, assumed prices, demand, costs and their compliance with the material scope.

Conditions for providing assistance

If the call for proposals requires it, we analyse the relevant conditions for public aid, including the applicant’s economic situation, in accordance with the legal basis of the given instrument.

A loss does not automatically mean exclusion from the grant. The status of a company in difficulty is assessed based on the relevant legal and factual circumstances, not solely on a single-year basis. The assessment itself is only required where relevant regulations and call documentation apply. Basis: Article 2(18) of Commission Regulation (EU) No 651/2014.

What should I send before getting a quote?

  • The purpose of the analysis and a brief description of the investment
  • Project value, schedule and planned financing
  • Available financial data or existing model
  • Call rules or bank guidelines, if known

How do we determine scope and cost?

The pricing depends on the complexity of the model, data availability, the number of variants analyzed, the client's requirements, and the completion date. The scope of the project and the fee are agreed upon before work begins.

An individual consultation can be considered a separate service. Submitting an inquiry does not constitute a contract or a fee.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is worth knowing before ordering an analysis?

Does every grant require NPV and IRR?

No. The required analyses and indicators depend on the program, project type, and application guidelines. Some instruments may require simplified forecasts, while others require cash flow analysis, financial sustainability analysis, or more complex indicators.

Does a positive NPV mean that the project will receive funding?

No. NPV is a measure of financial profitability based on adopted assumptions and the discount rate. Project evaluation for a grant also includes other criteria, and the interpretation of indicators may differ from the analysis of a private investment.

Does a loss in the financial statements exclude a company from grants?

This is not automatic. Verification depends on the legal basis for the assistance, the organizational form, the age of the enterprise, and other factors. A single negative financial result is not a sufficient basis for a decision.

Is it possible to prepare an analysis without full financial statements?

Yes, in many cases, you can start with simplified records, offers, market data, and assumptions. However, the sources of the forecasts must be clearly identified, and specific client requirements may require additional documentation.

Is the analysis for a bank the same as for a grant application?

Not always. Banks focus on repayment capacity and cash flow, among other factors, while grant documentation may require specific formulas, parameters, and evaluation methods. This same model may require adjustments.

What is the difference between a financial analysis and a business plan?

Financial analysis focuses on figures, cash flow, financing, and risk. A business plan also covers the market, strategy, business model, and organization of the venture. For a complete analysis, check out our business plan and business model services.
